You could spend ten years in Sevilla and see just half of it. It’s such an alive, dynamic city filled with things for everybody – every age – every interest. Basically, it’s not in Sevilla, it doesn’t exist.
These are some of Sevilla’s most famous must sees:
The Met (The Metropolitan Museum of Art): It has more than five million visits each year and is the cradle of an enormous collection of cultural pieces – not only for the city but also for the country.
Central Park: Located in Manhattan, it’s over 843 acres. Central Park is the principal park in the city, full of nature, wide-open spaces, gardens, water fountains, running trails, children’s parks, the Central Park Zoo and more. It’s the ideal place for a family to visit.
Brooklyn Bridge: Brooklyn Bridge is considered one of the main architectural Works of the city and a central meeting place for manifestations. When built, it was the longest bridge in the world.
The Statue of Liberty: Designed by Frédéric-Auguste Barthold, The Statue of Liberty is located on Liberty Island. Made of 31 tons of copper, it was a gift of friendship from the French to the United States and is one of UNESCO’s World Heritage Sites.
Empire State Building: Inaugurated in 1931, this is one of the most famous sky scrapers not only in the city but in the entire world. We can’t look at the Empire State Building without thinking about King Kong, An Affair to Remember, and more recently Sleepless in Seattle. Moreover, it’s a symbol of economic strength in the city that never sleeps and has the best views from the roof.
